This session will cover the changes to the ICD-10-CM classification system for fiscal year 2025 (FY2025) effective October 1, 2024.

Learning objectives for this presentation include:

  1. Understand new additions, deletions, and revisions to diagnosis codes for FY2025.
  2. Understand significant updates to Alphabetic Indexing and Tabular Instructions for FY2025.
  3. Understand and be able to apply the CM guideline changes for FY 2025.
  4. Understand changes regarding MCCs, CCs, and medical MS-DRGs for FY 2025.

The session will also identify examples of how AI can be used in the HIM profession.

By 5:00 PM EST on Monday, November 4th, registrants will receive instructions via email for accessing slides and Zoom. Full payment must be received before access to the event is provided.   
 
CE CREDITS
This program meets the AHIMA CE Guidelines for up to 6 hours of continuing education. AHIMA CEUs are also accepted by the AAPC! Check eligibility on the AAPC website.  

CEUs will be uploaded into your IHIMA profile (My CEUs under the Member Menu) one week after the conference. There within your profile, you can download or save a report of your CEUs. Please note that you’ll still need to enter your CEUs in your AHIMA CEU Center (they will NOT transfer automatically).
